BigBuy, a wholesale platform based in Spain, saw tremendous success last year, generating a turnover of 123 million euros, marking a 15% growth from the previous year. What’s even more impressive is that over 90% of their orders were from international customers.

Fast forward to 2022, BigBuy’s turnover reached 105 million euros, and just a year later, the group’s combined turnover hit 123 million euros, with a consolidated turnover of 99 million euros.

Throughout 2023, the company processed over 2 million orders and currently offers a selection of over 8,000 brands and 400,000 products. Notably, a staggering 90% of their orders were shipped internationally.

Q4 Success

Throughout the last quarter of the year, BigBuy saw a 30% increase in turnover compared to 2022, thanks to the launch of new business lines and strong holiday sales during Cyber Week and Christmas.

New Strategies and Growth

BigBuy credits its strong growth to implementing new strategies, particularly during the recent financial crisis in Europe. The company’s CFO, Rafael Aguado, highlighted a 20% reduction in inventory levels and a 40% decrease in debt with financial bodies, leading to improved cash flow and reduced financial expenses.

‘Our approach of diversification of resources has been key to this 15% growth.’

Founder Salvador Esteve also noted, “Our approach of diversification and the optimization of resources has been key to this 15 percent growth, bolstering our position in the market.”
