Marketplace solution provider Mirakl has truly made waves in 2023, generating nearly 160 million dollars (148.6 million euros) in annual recurring revenue – a significant 20 percent growth compared to the previous year. And that’s not all, the Mirakl Platform has also reached profitability in the fourth quarter of last year.
Founded in 2012, this French company offers a SaaS solution for creating and managing online marketplaces, and has raised almost 1 billion euros in funding so far. In its latest funding round, Mirakl secured 100 million euros in a revolving credit facility.
8 billion euros GMV on the platform
Last year, the Mirakl-powered marketplace and dropship platforms transacted almost 8 billion euros (8.6 billion dollars) in GMV – a record 50 percent year-over-year increase. The company’s financial results are truly impressive.
The Mirakl Platform is now a self-sustaining financial model.
In fact, in November, the company achieved 1 billion dollars (927.2 million euros) in monthly GMV. Over 30 platforms powered by the company’s software also surpassed the 100 million dollar GMV threshold last year. It’s no wonder that the Mirakl Platform has now reached profitability in Q4, making it a self-sustaining financial model.
Launch of new features last year
But the success doesn’t stop there. In 2023, Mirakl also expanded its product suite, introducing artificial intelligence, ads, and payout features. Co-founder and co-CEO Philippe Corrot expressed the company’s commitment to empowering customers for maximum growth and profitability.
‘Mirakl’s business is financially sustainable, profitable and helps operators capture revenue streams.’
And with the launch of Mirakl Ads and a global partnership with Havas, Mirakl is positioned to be a leading player in the exponentially growing retail media ecosystem in 2024. The company’s suite of solutions and the financial maturity of Mirakl Platform uniquely positions it to help operators capture new revenue streams – making Mirakl’s business financially sustainable and profitable.
